Cannindah Resources Limited is an ASX-listed (ASX:CAE) Queensland, Australian-based exploration and resource development company. We are focused on copper and gold mineral exploration, evaluation, and progressing various mineral projects.

CAE recently announced an updated JORC resource of 14.5MT @ 1.09%CuEq with 88% of that resource contained in the measured and indicated categories. Further exploration and drilling of the flagship Mt Cannindah project is about to commence following a successful $5m capital raising recently.

  • Tom Pickett, Managing Director

    Appointed in May 2013, Tom Pickett holds a Law Degree from Bond University and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment.

    Tom has experience in various sectors, including mining exploration, law, tourism, and hotels, having held executive appointments in these areas for both ASX listed and private companies.

    Tom is currently the Managing Director of Cannindah Resources and has held numerous board positions on other ASX listed companies over the past 15 years. His experience in the management of exploration activity across several projects in North Queensland for both gold and copper is a valuable asset to Cannindah Resources Limited.

  • Michael Hansel, Chairman

    Michael Hansel is a Partner at HopgoodGanim Lawyers in their Corporate practice. He has expertise in mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, due diligence, takeovers, joint ventures, corporate restructuring and private equity transactions. Michael is also the co-lead of HopgoodGanim Lawyers’ Asia Business Unit, where he predominantly works with Asia-based clients investing in Australian corporations.

  • Simon Beams, Non-Executive Director

    Simon Beams has been a Geologist since 1975, and for the past 32 years, he has been Managing Director and Principal Geologist of Terra Search Pty Ltd.

    In this role, he has been directly involved in many mineral exploration and evaluation programs across Northern Australia, leading to mineral discoveries and some mines, primarily base metals and gold, but including uranium, phosphate, magnetite and oil shale, amongst others.

     

    In 2016, Simon was awarded the John Campbell Miles Medal by the Queensland Divisions of the Geological Society of Australia and the Australian Institute of Geosciences for contributions to economic geology, exploration technology, and mineral discovery in Queensland.

    Simon is also an active member of several geological societies, including:

He is also a Member of the Queensland Exploration Committee for AMEC (Association of Mining and Exploration Companies), one of the Peak Industry Exploration Groups.

    Simon has produced several key publications in the areas of mineral deposit geology and geochemistry, exploration data management, regolith relations, petrology and granite genesis and regional geology of North Queensland.

  • Geoff Missen FCA GAICD, Non-Executive Director

    Geoff Missen is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, with over 25 years in public practice.

    Geoff is an active board member, serving on several boards in public, private and not-for-profit sectors, including the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation.

    He is the Managing Director and Owner of the Puzzle Advisory Partnership Pty Ltd, a boutique Chartered Accounting and Corporate Advisory business based on the Gold Coast.
