Buxton Resources (ASX:BUX)
Company Profile
Buxton is specialised in the discovery and development of metalliferous ore deposits including nickel, copper, gold, iron and graphite.
The company is currently focused on its 100% owned Centurion (Cu/Au) and Madman (Au) which have excellent potential to deliver Australia’s next major copper/gold exploration discovery.
Since incorporating, Buxton has achieved several outstanding technical and commercial milestones including a greenfields discovery which defined an entirely new magmatic nickel-copper sulphide province in the Kimberley Region, the definition of a high grade graphite resource at the Graphite Bull Project and a magnetite resource at Zanthus. Our grassroots exploration success has translated to several farm-in Joint Venture agreements with mid-tier producer IGO Limited.
BUX has recently focused on the 100% owned, high-grade Graphite Bull project, located in Western Australia. Graphite Bull has the potential to be a supplier of choice for natural flake for lithium-ion battery anodes.
Buxton is also managing exploration at the Copper Wolf Project in Arizona, USA – one of the most prolifically endowed copper belts in the world. Copper Wolf has several historical resource estimates available that confirm the presence of a large Laramide porphyry Cu/Mo system.
