Asra Minerals is actively developing gold, lithium and REE projects with tenements covering 360km2, strategically positioned within the resource-rich Eastern Goldfields mining jurisdiction of Leonora, Western Australia.

Through the recent acquisition of the Kookynie West Project, Asra has effectively triple its exploration portfolio in the Leonora region of Western Australia.

The company’s flagship Mt Stirling Project hosts a 152,000oz gold deposit and a unique clay hosted REE deposit of clean, heavy rare earth elements and critical minerals, scandium and cobalt.

Located near the mining town of Leonora, 240km north of Kalgoorlie, Asra’s Mt Stirling Project has:

  • Gold: a current JORC compliant mineral resource of gold alongside Red 5’s (ASX; RED) King of the Hills mine. The region has recently produced approximately 14Moz of gold from mines such as Tower Hills, Sons of Gwalia, Thunderbox, Harbour Lights and Gwalia. Mt Stirling is nearby to excellent infrastructure including road, rail and mills.
  • REE: A high ratio of heavy rare earths to total rare earths (0.57 to 1) and a lack of radioactivity distinguishes the company’s Yttria and Wishbone prospects which contain a high proportion of the magnet REEs dysprosium, terbium, praseodymium and neodymium, as well as significant anomalous concentrations of scandium.
  • Property: The company owns the 172,662-hectare Tarmoola Pastoral Lease underlying the company’s gold and REE deposits and infrastructure. The station also extends north and east to cover Red 5’s KOTH Gold Operation and Aeris’ Jaguar Mining Centre (ASX: AIS).
  • Equity: Asra also has free-carried gold joint ventures in the WA Goldfields with Zuleika (ASX: ZAG) and Loyal Lithium (ASX: LLI) as well as an equity holding in LLI.

  • Rob Longley | Managing Director

    Mr Longley is a geologist with over 30 years’ experience in global resources across a range of commodities. He previously worked as CEO/MD of Ardiden Ltd and Helios Gold, as well as GM of Geology at Sundance Resources. Rob also worked on the Sunrise nickel-cobalt-scandium-platinum Project in NSW and many gold, nickel and lithium deposits in Western Australia.

  • Matthew Longworth | Non-Executive Director & Technical Director

    Mr Longworth is a geologist with over 35 years’ experience. He is currently the Non-Executive Chairman of ASX listed Ardea Resources, as well as public unlisted Northam Resources and Greenfields Exploration. Mr Longworth previously served as Non-Executive Chairman of Echo Resources from 2012 to 2016, as well as Director, CEO and then Non-Executive Chairman at Metalicity Limited from 2014 until 2021.
