Ark Mines is an ASX-listed minerals exploration company with a leading project suite focused on raw materials that are critical to the manufacturing of rechargeable lithium-ion batteries and the viability of electric vehicles (EVs).
The Company is developing its 100%-owned projects located in mineral-rich regions across Northern Queensland, including the recently acquired ‘Sandy Mitchell’ – an advanced Placer Rare Earths project where Ark has completed a Phase 1, 144-hole drill program. Interim analysis provides early indications that the 140km2 Sandy Mitchell tenement is highly prospective for further advancement, with Rare Earth (REE) and Heavy Mineral (HM) mineralisation in every hole.
Ark Mines’ project development suite also includes the Gunnawarra Nickel-Cobalt Project, the Mt Jesse Copper-Iron Project and the Pluton Porphy-Gold Project. In July 2023, Ark Mines successfully completed an oversubscribed share placement which leaves it well funded to accelerate exploration at Sandy Mitchell in line with the ongoing global demand trends for green technology metals.
Tune in to the video below to hear from Ark Mines executive chairman Roger Jackson on site from the company’s flagship Sandy Mitchell project.
