Beginning with a balmy 26 degrees on March 18 with clear skies for Good Friday, Easter Saturday will see some high cloud move in for a high of 24 degrees. Easter Sunday will see similar with no rain, partly sunny skies and a high of 23. Easter Monday will be a carbon copy of the day before. In other words, four days with no autumn rain. Marvellous.

If you’re planning anything outdoors in the Victorian capital over the Easter long weekend, aim for Good Friday or Easter Saturday. The first will have sunny skies with a high of 21 degrees, while it will be partially sunny on the second and reach the same high. Showers will move in on both Easter Sunday and Monday with a high of 21 degrees.

Haul out the barbies on Good Friday as the forecast is for a partly sunny day with a high of 27 degrees. On the two subsequent days, however, the showers will move in and the temp will drop to 26 before bouncing back up to 27 on Easter Sunday. Easter Monday will be cloudy with a high of 26.

Good Friday looks set be a pearler with intermittent sunshine, no rain and a top of 25 degrees. On Saturday and Sunday, the showers move in with a highs around the 23 or 24 degree mark. Easter Monday sees the sun return with a high of 24 degrees.

Bad news we’re afraid, Tassie. The best of the weather will be Good Friday with a cloud 18 degrees. After that it’s all showers until Tuesday when – of course – the sun will re-emerge. Temps across the long weekend will be a consistent 18 degrees.
