The Unicorns Podcast connects you to some of the best and brightest founders, CEOs, executives, business owners, VCs and inspiring leaders who make things happen and inspire others.

Hosted by former broadcast journalist and PR veteran, Justin Kelly, we chat to leaders on the front line on how to get started, what it takes to build a successful business, how to overcome challenges, and advice for those on a similar journey.

In this episode, Justin talks with Michael Jardine, Managing Director of emerging zinc producer Ironbark Zinc (ASX:IBG).

Ironbark is on the cusp of a significant financing milestone after its Citronen Zinc-Lead Project in Greenland became the first standalone project globally to receive 402(A) designation from the US EXIM Bank under its recently introduced China and Transformational Exports Program (CTEP).

While Ironbark’s funding application is still in the process of being assessed by EXIM, it is an encouraging sign and indicates the strategic importance of the Citronen Project to the US Government.

Michael discusses the significance of the new US EXIM Bank designation, the much-anticipated project finance approval decision, and the strong Greenland government support for the Citronen Project.
