Special report: How Chris Christofi has turned passion for property into business and philanthropic success
Most Stockhead readers are familiar with the benefits of not having to repair, insure or find nice clean-living and reliable tenants for their investments, not to mention the potential returns from picking the right share plays.
But latest data from CoreLogic shows there are also big gains to be made from Aussie homes, too. The property data firm’s most recent Pain and Gain report shows the median nominal gain standing at $265,000 and the total nominal resale profit $28.6 billion.
There’s likely more gains on the way with property values rising 8% across the 2023/24 financial year – equating a $59,000 increase in the median value – and supply shortages forecast into the foreseeable future.
There are plenty of property spruikers offering seminars and deals to those looking to get into property.
Most of us are aware of the tabloid tales of woe some of those can lead to and one way to avoid going down that particular driveway is to choose an advisor who is genuinely passionate about getting people into property.
Chris learnt the hard way, growing a property portfolio in his early 20s, and then losing everything at 24. Chris has used the valuable lessons he used to help Australians build their wealth safely and securely through property investment.
Through his vision and drive Christofi has propelled Reventon to become a leading investment and financial services company that has $3.2B+ in sales and manages more than $1 billion in real estate transactions.
For almost 20 years Reventon has also built up a team of experts in property, finance and accounting who can develop a full-suite, personalised strategy for growing wealth.
From securing funding, finding a property and completing the purchase, Reventon can also help protect clients’ wealth through sustainable investments, risk insurance and personal tax reduction.
Christofi is keen on busting the myth that property investment is for the already wealthy or those with easy access to the Bank of Mum and Dad. As well as demonstrating this in his day to day work, he also details how to build a property portfolio step by step in his Amazon bestselling book, Your Path to Wealth, Brick by Brick.
“I absolutely love helping people get into the property market and making some money through smart investment decisions,” Christofi says.
“I see it as a privilege to do something I love as a career and combine that with my philanthropic endeavours where I try to help as many fellow human beings as possible. I’m very fortunate.”
