V-Con is Stockhead’s investing focused video conference series, bringing you expert insights, panel discussions and presentations from leading analysts, listed small caps and industry players.

This latest video conference focuses on the gold sector.

Despite its slow start to 2021, gold appears to be gearing up for another shot to the stars with prices climbing in April to test the $US1,800 mark.

Increasingly, the view is that with the US Federal Reserve’s commitment to its easy money policy until the economy returns to normal, gold prices are likely to continue rising and could hit $US1,900 before the end of this year.

Further supporting the precious metal is the developing consensus that the recent rise in US 10-year Treasury yields was an overreaction.

In fact, at least one analyst believes that inflation is already here, which will make assets such as gold, silver and cryptocurrency very popular with investors.

All this is good news for gold and we hear from our panel of listed juniors in the sector about their activities, discoveries and future plans
