Podium Minerals has appointed Hannah Hudson as its chief financial officer and company secretary as it continues to progress its Parks Reef PGM project.

Hudson has held company secretarial and high-level financial positions with a number of ASX listed and private companies over the last 17 years.

Her appointment comes as Russell Thomson steps down from his roles as executive director, company secretary and chief financial officer with effect from 13 December 2021.

“The board was delighted with Hannah’s appointment who will be working closely with newly appointed CEO Mr Sam Rodda in the continued development of the Parks Reef PGM project,” executive chairman Clayton Dodd said.

Hudson will be appointed with 600,000 performance rights on the terms consistent with those issued to Rodda.

Parks Reef growth

Podium (ASX:POD) recently raised more than $3m through an oversubscribed share purchase plan, taking the total raised up to $7.6m.

These funds will be used to advance its growth strategy for Parks Reef, which currently hosts a resource of 2.2Moz of platinum, palladium and gold (3PGM) plus 79,000t of copper.

Upcoming work includes a planned reverse circulation drill program to test the reef at shallow levels in the oxide zone where previous drilling had intersected the reef at deeper levels as well as infill and depth extension drilling to expand the resource base below 100m.

The company is also progressing metallurgical test work to select and optimise a process to treat Parks Reef oxide mineralisation.
