Nexus Minerals (ASX:NXM) has hit shallow, high-grade gold confirming that mineralisation extends over 700m of strike at the Templar prospect within its Wallbrook gold project in WA’s Eastern Goldfields region.
Drilling returned a top grade of 1m at 57.1 grams per tonne gold within a broader 12m intersection at 5.04g/t gold from 39m.
Other notable results are 5m at 5.88g/t gold from 58m and 1m at 11.53g/t gold within a 24m zone grading 1.42g/t.
Adding interest, 38 of the 40 holes drilled by the company intersected mineralisation and the holes were drilled to about 100m depth, leaving significant potential at depth to be tested.
Mineralisation at Templar also remains open in all directions, giving potential to grow the prospect through more drilling.
Dart Mining (ASX:DRM) has also intersected high-grade gold at the Fairley’s prospect within its Buckland project in northeast Victoria.
Notable results are 13m at 4.82g/t gold from 12m including 2m at 11.6g/t gold from 20m and 11m at 2.64g/t gold from 28m including 3m at 7.49g/t gold from 29m.
Mineralisation at Fairley’s has now been defined over 240m of strike and remains open in all directions.
The company adds that the prospect forms just a small part of the 17.5km gold and arsenic anomalous multi-structure Buckland project.
Gascoyne Resources (ASX:GCY) has highlighted the potential for mine life extensions at the Dalgaranga project after drilling targeting the downdip potential of the Gilbey’s, Sly Fox, and Plymouth deposits intersected gold.
Notable results include 11m at 4.2g/t gold from 272m at Gilbey’s, 26m at 1.8g/t gold from 184m at Sly Fox and 20m at 2.4g/t gold from 150m at Plymouth.
Further resource definition drilling is planned to follow up on near mine extensions while aircore exploration drilling is expected to begin in the current quarter.
Dalgaranga produced 229,000oz of gold from 1996 to 2000 and has a current ore reserve of 16.3Mt grading 0.8/t for 426,300oz of gold.
It produced 20,314oz of gold during the September 2020 quarter.
