Special Report: Australia’s foremost pure graphene provider First Graphene has commenced sales after receiving a series of crucial approvals.
First Graphene (ASX:FGR) has shipped its PureGRAPH range of graphene powder products to customers in Australia and Europe.
The sales come shortly after the company received Australian and European regulatory approval for PureGRAPH — from NICNAS in the former and REACH in the latter.
The company has sent out products from its Henderson facility to clients in Ireland, Germany and the UK for product development programmes, while Australian partner newGen is advancing its field trials with customers in the Pilbara mining region of Western Australia.

And in further good news, formal long-term supply contracts are being finalised with two key accounts in parallel to the shipment of the initial sales volumes. First Graphene says it will update the market with more information when it can.
“This is what everyone has been waiting for,” chairman Warwick Grigor told Stockhead. “There has been a backlog of customers wanting to commence purchasing with us and now we have the approvals we can get on with the job.
“What you’re seeing today is the difference between a concept and commercial reality.”
First Graphene has been working with newGen since last year on improving the protective polymer linings of critical mining equipment, such as graphene-based bucket liners.

FGR shares got a 9 per cent boost on Monday morning, up to 24c.
The company is the leading supplier of high-performing, graphene products, with a robust manufacturing platform based upon captive supply of high-purity raw materials and an established 100 tonne/year graphene production capacity.
Commercial applications are now being progressed in composites, elastomers, fire retardancy, construction and energy storage.
