Stockhead’s ‘Garimpeiro’ columnist Barry FitzGerald is back in the studio for another instalment of The Explorers Podcast.
In this episode, Barry chats to general manager Gavin Rutherford and principal geology consultant Beau Nicholls of Western Yilgarn (ASX:WYX).
It may be your first time hearing of Western Yilgarn, given the company has recently undergone a fresh coat of paint – including its new name.
The company makes no secret of where it is exploring as its name says it all – currently working on its 349km2 Julimar West PGE project 75km northeast of Perth.
According to the Western Yilgarn team, the name change follows the acquisition of a suite of “exciting” exploration projects across the Yilgarn Craton – with exposure to nickel and copper as well opportunities to discover rare earths and lithium.
Western Yilgarn’s Gavin Rutherford and Beau Nicholls give Barry the run down on the explorer’s next moves in one of WA’s most intriguing neighbourhoods
