ASX SMALL CAP WINNERS:
SciDev +82%
Energy junior SciDev (ASX:SDV) jumped 82 per cent this week after receiving its first major order from the US market for its friction reducing tech.
SciDev says these intial orders are worth a touch over $1 million, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg.
“Order volumes are expected to continue to grow, with further commercial and field evaluations to be undertaken in order to determine the potential financial returns to SciDev from this very large market,” the company says.
Indago Energy +90.38%
Fellow oil and gas winner Indago Energy (ASX:INK) received a speeding ticket from the ASX this week after jumping from 6.2c to 12c in a matter of days. And no, the energy tech junior didn’t have a reason for the spectacular share price increase.
Spectrum Metals +75% (or 1080% since January 1)
And something is on the boil at gold darling Spectrum Metals (ASX:SPX), which went on a stunning seven-day run from 2.5c to 6.3c.
This is the same company that caught a one-month, 525 per cent rocket in March after hitting bonanza grade gold at it flagship Penny West project.
Lucky investors have just made a 1080 per cent return on this stock so far this year.
DroneShield +58%
It’s been a busy week for DroneShield Ltd (ASX:DRO), the company that manufactures products used to fend off drone-based threats (yes, that includes with a massive drone gun).
DRO made three straight announcements in connection with various grants and partnership agreements, including an integration deal with Bosch, the multinational engineering and technology company.
The market loved it, sending the stock up 58 per cent for the week.
