ASX SMALL CAP WINNERS:

Novita Healthcare (ASX:NHL)  +115%

Another Friday, another one of Novita Healthcare’s (ASX:NHL) digital training and treatment programs has gained clearance from the FDA. This week it was the TALi train digital attention treatment program.

To be specific it was approved for reimbursement under the relevant Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes. These are medical codes are administered by the American Medical Association, as a way to provide a standardised set of guidelines for clinical validation.

QMS Media (ASX:QMS) +36%

On Tuesday, QMS Media (ASX:QMS) shareholders learned the news that private equity firm, Quadrant, wanted to acquire the company.

Quadrant will pay $420 million for the outdoor media company which is up 36 per cent this week.

CV Check (ASX:CV1) +36%

Plenty of firms’ quarterlies did not raise eyebrows but CV Check’s (ASX:CV1) was one of the more impressive.

The employee candidate screening platform made $3.5 million in revenue, $9.6 million in Annualised Recurring Revenue (ASX:ARR) and substantially cut its cash burn from the prior corresponding period.

ASX SMALL CAP LOSERS:

Carnegie Clean Energy (ASX:CCE) -63%

This week the company was released from a suspension it had been in since February. Initially, its problem was not lodging its half yearly accounts.

But a few weeks later, the WA government terminated its contract with them to build a wave energy plant at Albany due to concerns it couldn’t complete the project.

Since then it has gone digital with its technology and was reinstated this week. But after waiting months to head for the exits, shareholders took the first chance they had.

BuildingIQ (ASX:BIQ) -49%

This company’s quarterly was poorly received by its shareholders. While the company said it was a ‘mixed’ quarter, shareholders were concerned about its cash flows.

It had $135,000 in cash and cash equivalents left and anticipated over $2.8 million in outflows in the December quarter.
