The day ahead

Key events today will be led by the RBA’s monthly policy announcements.

Westpac expects the central bank will be in “watch and wait” after announcing a range of new stimulus measures in November.

Property watchers will also be on the lookout for CoreLogic’s monthly home value index, while GDP inputs will begin filtering in from the ASX, before the release of the Q3 national accounts on Wednesday.

The following companies are in trading halts and are expected out in the next two trading days:

Tuesday:

No companies scheduled. Treasury Wine Estates (ASX:TWE), Telix Pharmaceuticals (ASX:TLX) and Viva Leisure (ASX:VVA) were originally scheduled for Tuesday, but resumed trading yesterday.

Wednesday:

Pursuit Minerals (ASX:PUR) – capital raising
Auroch Minerals (ASX:AOU) – exploration results
