Rise and Shine: What you need to know before the ASX opens

Scheduled to list today are gold and base metals explorer OZZ Resources (ASX: OZZ) at 12:00PM AEST.

It will be followed at 12:30PM by Lumos Diagnostics (ASX:LDX), which specialises in rapid diagnostics tests for infectious and inflammatory diseases including Covid-19.

A couple of IPOs did ripper business on their opening days, with bettor Bluebet Holdings (ASX: BBT) up 56% at $1.78 after its $80 million float on Friday.

Australian Rare Earths (ASX:AR3) too extended its gains on its second day of trade Friday to climb another 4% to 80c – a 167% premium to its 30c IPO price.

Melbourne retailer Cettire (ASX:CTT) was a winner, up 30% for the week after announcing an expansion into children’s wear.

In the energy sector, 88 Energy (ASX:88E) was up 59% after announcing its adoption of a global standard for ESG reporting and the full repayment of outstanding debt.

The company is now debt free with an unaudited cash balance of A$14.8 million as of 30 June 2021.

Minbos Resources (ASX:MNB) stock jumped 58% last week after the company ordered long lead items for its Cabinda Phosphate Plant.

Carnegie Clean Energy (ASX:CCE) was up 50% after selling its royalty over part of the Higginsville Gold Project in WA back to the owner Karora Resources.
