On Stockhead today, professional investors buy into the McDonald’s of healthcare: day hospitals, TechTalk: What to buy in e-commerce, the hottest sector of the global economy and +70pc of small cap raises from April are currently trading above their offer price.
There’s no major updates on the local calendar, although Westpac’s leading economic index is expected to “fall steeply, led by a deep contraction in hours worked”, the bank said.
Globally, there’s April inflation data due for the UK, Eurozone and Canada, while the main focus is likely to be the release of minutes from the US Federal Reserve’s latest policy meeting.
