Today we will see the Westpac Leading Index released at 11.30am – an indicator of economic growth in the near future. Skilled vacancies released by the Department of Employment at 11am.

After a rough first two weeks of August, both the ASX 200 and ASX Small Ords gained over 1 per cent yesterday closing at 6,545 and 2,819 points respectively.
Over on Stockhead’s Facebook group chat, members were most interested in Roots’ entry into the plant-based meat craze. It is now 72 per cent higher so evidently its own shareholders approve of the move.
