Special Report: Medical clinic, skincare and wellness company Wellness and Beauty Solutions can now market its new ELLE product range to retailers in Europe and North America.

Wellness and Beauty Solutions (ASX:WNB) is currently developing a range of beauty, skincare and related accessories products under the iconic ELLE magazine brand via its wholly-owned subsidy The Giving Brands Company (GBCo).

Now, the company will be able to market those products in more countries, following an announcement this week that it has extended its deal with Lagardère Active, which owns the ELLE brand.

The four-year agreement covers GBCo to develop products under three different ranges – ELLE Colour Cosmetics, ELLE Kids and ELLE Baby.

While all three ranges are scheduled launch in Australia this year, the new deal extends the reach significantly.

ELLE Colour Cosmetics’ range has been extended to include Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Germany, with approval to explore the market opportunity in the US and Canada.

Meanwhile, the ELLE Kids and ELLE Baby range extends into Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and key Asian markets including China, Hong Kong and much of southeast Asia including Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines and Myanmar.

More than 50 products under the ELLE Colour Cosmetics range, while the ELLE Kids and ELLE Baby lines feature about 35 products in total.

Quality partnerships

WNB’s Giving Brand Co owns, licenses and partners with multiple brands in the beauty industry, with existing brands including Jbronze, Infinite, NailKALM and Breathe therapeutic massage.

And high-quality partnerships enable Wellness and Beauty Solutions to tap into a large, engaged audience across specific demographics.

Having started in France in 1945, there are now 45 editions of ELLE available around the world and it’s one of the largest female focused titles, with a digital audience of close to 300,000 in Australia alone.

But this isn’t the first time Wellness and Beauty Solutions has paired up with a top publication to launch branded products.

It’s also partnered with Women’s Weekly and Country Style Living to develop new proprietary retail skincare and cosmetic products.

“This significant achievement recognises GBCo’s expertise and experience in creating and developing outstanding beauty and wellness brands,” said Christine Parkes, Wellness and Beauty Solutions’ Managing Director.

Wellness and Beauty Solutions also recently signed an Australian retail distribution deal to get its stable of beauty brands into Australia’s supermarkets
