Power converter maker Rectifier Technologies (ASX:RFT) enjoyed a great start to October, with its shares rising 24 per cent to an intraday high of 3.6c today.
The company announced that it had received $4.7m in product orders for the supply of 35kW high-voltage and high-efficiency modular power supply units for DC electric vehicle charging.
Rectifier’s annual report also landed this morning, showing increased revenues and a $62,000 profit compared with the previous financial year’s $35,000 loss.
About $1.9 million worth of Biotron (ASX:BIT) shares traded hands this morning, sending the company’s stock up 22 per cent to an intraday high of 5c.
That was on the back of trial results released on Friday that showed the company’s BIT225 drug had “significant immunological benefits” in patients with HIV.
ParaZero (ASX:PRZ) shares rose 21 per cent to an intraday high of 17c after the company announced that the first Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) waiver for a “flight over people [using a drone equipped] with a parachute safety system” was granted to a drone operator using ParaZero’s technology.
The first flights using the waiver were conducted during the tailgating event prior to the North Dakota State University vs South Dakota State football game at the FargoDome in North Dakota.
The drone swooped multiple times over the crowds gathered in the stadium’s parking lots and provided real-time footage for local law enforcement and media companies.
ASX minnow Energy Technologies (ASX:EGY) gained 33 per cent to an intraday high of 0.4c after it released its annual report late on Friday.
It revealed a $3.1m loss but shareholders backed the company in early Monday trade. Sales revenue jumped from $12.9m to $15.3m.
