GOING UP
High-tech concrete maker Eden Innovations (ASX:EDE) keeps rising — it’s up 34 per cent to an intraday high of 9.5c today, despite the fact there’s no news.
It soared 65 per cent to 7.1c last week — attracting a speeding ticket from the ASX.
But Eden said there was nothing going on other than a couple of deals it announced last month.
Shares in AI and machine learning company Dragontail Systems (ASX:DTS) rose 41 per cent to an intraday high of 24c after it came out of yesterday’s trading halt with news of a strategic investment.
Prior to the trading halt yesterday Dragontail rose to 17c.
Tiger Global Management, a New York-based investment firm, is pouring $6.1 million into the company to accelerate new AI technology endeavours, Dragontail says.
Pacifico Minerals (ASX:PMY) rose 20 per cent to an intraday high of 0.6c after it completed its acquisition of Sorby Hills.
Stockhead columnist Tim Treadgold examined the background of the deal back in July. Read his rundown here.
Greencross (ASX:GXL) has confirmed press speculation that it is being hunted by a suitor, sending the share price up 41 per cent to an intraday of 24c.
The AFR reported today that TPG Capital is leading takeover interest in vet clinic and pet shop owner Greencross.
The company confirmed today “it has received and is engaging with a number of parties regarding credible proposals”.

GOING DOWN
Alligator Energy (ASX:AGE) is down 40 per cent to an intraday and year-long low of 0.3c after it told investors it had not found any “significant intercepts of uranium” at its TCC4 uranium prospect in the Northern Territory.
“While no immediate significant uranium has been identified based on scintillometer readings, we have covered only part of our target area,” chief Greg Hall said. “It must be remembered that even drilling 100m away from the Ranger deposits would have found no anomalous uranium mineralisation.”
