GOING UP
Drone killer DroneShield (ASX:DRO) was up 19 per cent to an intraday high of 19c this morning after it received regulatory approval from the US to sell its drone-jamming DroneGuns to an undisclosed Middle Eastern country.
The sale is an important milestone for the company, which at the end of June reported $467,389 in customer receipts — while last October it was reporting a sales pipeline of more than $100 million.
Gold explorer Tribune Resources (ASX:TBR) rose 21 per cent this morning to an intraday high of $8.50, its highest ever point, after announcing a special dividend payment to shareholders.
The share price jump represented a $60 million jump in the miner’s market cap to more than $410 million.
Tribune investors will receive a special $3.50 per share — worth a total of $175 million – funded through the sale of its accumulated gold bullion from East Kundana.
Wangle Technologies (ASX:WGL) didn’t have to do much to boost its share price by half. It told the market today that it was changing the name of its family cyber security software suite.
Previously known as Family Insites, it has now been rebranded to the Family Insights.
That news was enough to send the company’s share price up 0.1 of a cent to 0.3c.
Another microcap in Invigor Group (ASX:IVO) rocketed 60 per cent this morning to an intraday high of 0.8c.
On Tuesday it told investors that it had signed a deal with WeChat, the hugely popular Chinese social media and payments app.
It has fluctuated since then but had another big spike this morning, with $209,556 worth of trades.
