The Emerging Companies index of microcap companies dipped 0.8 per cent to 1,843.9.

Revasum (ASX:RVS) was the biggest gainer on Wednesday, soaring 155 per cent to 31c after shipping its flagship 6EZ silicon carbide wafer polisher to a major global semiconductor wafer manufacturer in the United States for six months of testing.
