Monday June 26

RIO’s opened up at $112.50 and I managed to pick some up at $111.73, just before the 11.00am ding dong.

They set me up nicely for the day.

At the same time, I then picked up some BHP and some NHC.

NHC opened up at $4.88 and touched $4.91 before they came back another 10c off that high and I scooped up 5,000.

They were the last ones out of the door as I didn’t want to hang around watching any more. BHP did fall below $44.00 but I just hanged on till they thankfully rallied, just like RIOs did.

Up $700 and a nice start for the week.

Tuesday June 27

BHP gave us a classic 11.00am trade today. Only went for 1000, as thought I may have to double down but it was not needed.

So, that was the only trade for me today. At one point they touched a high of $45.16 and a low of $44.34 and their volume was a not too shabby at 7.1m.

RIOs had a low of $113.41 and finished the day up $1.90 at $114.64 after almost reaching $115 as their day’s high.

NHC had a bit of a wild range today and finished down 13c at 4.76 and they still have their buy back still on. I did look but decided ‘nah’. That was 2c off their days low.

Anyway plus $220. CBA finished the day up 5c. Boring!

Wednesday June 28

Bit more action in CBA today after 11.30am inflation figures were released. As I have no idea on what they will be, I was in and out before then, as I’ve been caught out taking a ‘hero’ trade view and losing my shirt as well as my pants in one go.

RIOs and CBA were both kind to me today and even though with hindsight, I left some on the table, booking a profit is all I’m interested in.

Up $750 and will leave it up to the charts to tell today’s story.

Thursday June 29

A quiet day today. WBc decoupled from the other banks, so managed a small turn out of them. It took all day for CBA to crack below $100.00 and I just missed them bounce in the last 5 mins.

BHP also only cracked below a key figure of $45.00 but I was long gone before they did.

Up $220 and looking forward till tomorrow at 10.00pm.

Friday June 30

Happy end of tax year to everyone!

I had a big lunch organised by my accountant today, so I was happy to just sit through a session till 12.00pm and then I was out of here.

Luckily for me CBA came in with a 11.00am special and wham bam ma’am I was in and out before my deadline.

All of the banks were down and everything else was doing okay. Glad this financial year is over.

Up $400 today and up $2290 gross or $1982 net.
