It’s a short, sharp update to help frame the trading day by showing the biggest movers in percentage terms.

The market opens at 10am (eastern time) and the data is taken at 10:15am, once every ASX stock has commenced trading.

Stocks highlighted in yellow have made market-moving announcements (click headings to sort).

Gold explorer Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR) surged over 60 per cent after confirming a gold discovery at its Blue Poles project.

Another gold play rising was Classic Minerals (ASX:CLZ) which obtained a mining lease at its own WA project at Kat Gap.

And while stopping short of declaring a discovery Odyssey Gold (ASX:ODY) reported intercepting visible gold at its Bottle Dump deposit and it has more than doubled.

Among other sectors, the biggest winner was diversified food stock Eve Investments (ASX:EVE) received its first purchase order from US organic supermarket chain Whole Foods.
