Leading the pack was gold play Superior Resources (ASX:SPQ) which surged after announcing exploration results.

Its peer WA-focused rare earths play RareX (ASX:REE) also surged after exploration results.

Also in resources, Tanzanian-focused explorer Indiana Resources (ASX:IDA) announced it was seeking at least US$95 million compensation from Tanzania’s mining-hostile government.

Among other sectors, Corporate Travel Management (ASX:CTD) surged on its first trading day after announcing an acquisition.

Medtech stock Impedimed (ASX:IPD) announced it had been chosen to take part in a major clinical trial.
