Stockhead’s Top 10 at 10 highlights the best (and worst) performing ASX small caps in morning trade. It’s a short, sharp update to help frame the trading day by showing the biggest movers in percentage terms.
The market opens at 10am (eastern time) and the data is taken at 10:15am, once every stock has commenced trading.
Stocks highlighted in yellow have made market-moving announcements (click headings to sort).
It’s been a tough few months for Botanix Pharmaceuticals (ASX:BOT) shareholders with two failed clinical trials.
But it surged this morning after announcing one of its other drug candidates, cannabinoid-based antibacterial microbe BTX1801 was given a special status by the FDA. Namely Qualified Infectious Disease Product (QIDP) for the prevention of post-surgical infections.
One early laggard was uranium play Peninsula Energy (ASX:PEN). Overnight US Energy Secretary Dan Brouillette released a plan to revive US uranium miners.
The stock has fallen despite Peninsula boss Wayne Heili saying the policy recommendations would be a good outcome for his company.
